The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.
Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place, you can start automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do and can clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes into contact with a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and moves forward.
The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.
You can also create or merge actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can also remove wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner need.
Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home.
