This self-emptying robotic vacuum cleaner does a great job on carpets with low piles and hard flooring. Its combinator brush gets to the edges and corners and then automatically boosts suction once it detects carpet. It also is effective in cleaning dirt that is embedded in carpets that are mid-pile. The IQ has a small footprint and a self-emptying function. If you want to change the floor's levels or define no-go areas, you'll need to manually reset the map.
The IQ's app has some advanced mapping and automation features however it doesn't have no-go zones that are available on iRobot models. The smart-pathing navigational system results in superior maneuverability and its high-pile carpet mode is clean well, but it tends to get caught up in rug tassels. Its iHome speaker allows you to operate the robot by voice commands.
During our tests in our tests, the IQ was able to handle pet hair well, clearing huge amounts of hair from floors with no flooring and moderate amounts from medium-pile carpet. It was less effective with shag carpets, as it was unable to reach dirt and dust that was embedded in the fibers. It did a decent job of navigating the legs of chairs and tight spaces as well as the wooden base of an IKEA step stool. We did notice that it was a little slower on floors with no flooring, but it regained speed and performed better than the other robots we tested.
The IQ is a more suitable option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dustbin, a longer battery life, and is better in navigating around obstacles. It also has a mopping attachment that can tackle sticky mess. On the other side the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement, incurs lower recurring costs and creates virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It is able to even resume a cleaning session from where it left off in case it runs out of battery before having completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice, which can be a big plus for many users.
Eufy 11S
The RoboVac 11S by eufy isn't exactly the most feature-rich robot vacuum on the market, but it does offer great cleaning power for the price of. It's a budget-friendly option for buyers who don't require a complicated mapping system or app to control the device. This robot can run for more than an hour and includes an remote, cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base and extra filters.

The eufy11S performed well in our tests of removing larger debris and fine dust from hard flooring. However, it struggled to give medium and high pile carpets a thorough clean. It ceases and emits a loud noise when it encounters an obstacle. Then, you can manually steer the device around it to return it to working.
