It also did a good job of navigating around objects and furniture, however it had some issues with stairs, where it can accidentally crash into things like bookcases.
The S9's ability to automatically return to its base and empty its dust bin after it is full was a great feature. It cut down on the requirement for manual maintenance. The dust bag is expected to last for around 30 loads or a month and a half. You'll need to replace the filter every few months (as recommended by iRobot). In our experience, the iRobot S9+ doesn't get extremely loud when it's in use which makes it a good option for those living with kids or pets.
Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid

Eufy's app is more user-friendly and precise than other robots that have similar scanning and mapping functions.
The X8 Hybrid has a great feature: you can activate the mop or vacuum via voice thanks to its integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This is a nice feature that makes the robot hands-free. It worked well in our test home.
The X8 Hybrid, like many robotic vacuums, has problems with floors that are not fully covered. It is prone to miss fur and small items and tends to bump things like its charger on the charging platform. It is also not as quiet and the whirring sound can be distracting like other models.
Roborock V3S pro
This robot isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we evaluated, but it has all the basics. It has a big enough dust bin to hold plenty of dirt before it's time to empty it, and its vacuum and mop system is great for carpets that are hard and low-pile. It is also very quiet. We were able watch TV while it cleaned without feeling like we were bombarded with the sound.
Our test subjects were extremely impressed by how simple the machine was to operate and set up. They also loved the ability to clean all the messes from their floors. It was successful in getting rid of pet hair, messes and carpeting however it had a harder time getting rid of stains that were stubborn. They found the app user-friendly and easy to use, and could schedule the vacuum to be cleaned on a regular basis to cut down on the amount they had to manually do. It doesn't have the ability to avoid objects or map technology, so it can't be able to be directed to specific rooms or follow virtual borders (though magnetic boundaries are compatible).
Another model from the iRobot's budget line that is the V3S Pro has some impressive features for the price. It was the best robot vacuum in our tests for mapping and avoiding obstacles.
